Monin Irish Syrup - 70cl

Monin Irish syrup was developed as part of the "virgin flavour" series and has a flavour profile similar to Irish cream, a cream liqueur based on whiskey, cream and coffee, for use in non-alcoholic after-dinner drinks.

Irish coffee is a popular after-dinner drink consisting of hot coffee, sugar and whiskey topped with thick cream, which the coffee is drunk through. It is said that the first Irish coffee was created by Joe Sheridan, head chef at Foynes in County Limerick. He made coffee for a group of American tourists who had just arrived in Ireland on a miserable winter's night and added whiskey to warm them. When asked what it was, Joe Sheridan replied that it was "Irish coffee".
