Om Helios 80 Matte black
The Eureka Helios 80 is an incredibly fast on-demand coffee grinder for professional use. Thanks to its 80-millimeter flat steel burrs, it can grind 6.5-7.5 g/s. This means that a double dose (approximately 18 grams of ground coffee) is ready in about 2.5 seconds. This insanely fast grinding is possible because the rotation speed is up to 1420 rpm and the power is 920 watts. There is a built-in portafilter holder so you can hang the portafilter while the coffee grinder grinds, though you'll barely have time to hang it.
The grind fineness on the Helios can be easily adjusted steplessly using the dial on the right side of the body's top. There are numbered indications so you can easily keep track of which number you usually grind at. Remember to always experiment with small adjustments. If the grinder was reasonably set, only a small change is usually needed to achieve a perfect grind. The metal spout can be adjusted in height and depth to minimize spill. It can also be completely removed for easy cleaning; just pull it out if desired.
The Helios is equipped with a bean hopper that holds 1.2 kg, which is well-suited for cafes, restaurants, and catering establishments. The design of this coffee grinder also looks great next to a professional espresso machine. The digital display stands out compared to similar grinders. This display is not only easy to use, but it also looks really stylish and modern. The display offers three programmable doses, in addition to a manual mode for continuous grinding. You can change the display color to red, blue, green, or yellow for a personal touch.
The entry of espresso beans on the Helios is adjusted with a flat slide that can be easily pulled away from or towards the grinder. If you want to remove the bean hopper from the Helios but there are still espresso beans inside, you can push in the flat slide so that it covers the entire opening and then twist the bean hopper upwards. This can be advantageously done if you want to clean the grinder or suspect there is a problem in the grinding mechanism. The display on the Helios shows when the burrs need maintenance ("Burrs Maintenance"). To clean the Helios, the bean hopper must be removed. The grinder will automatically shut off for safety reasons when the bean hopper is removed. Once it is removed, a dose of Pulygrind should be poured into the grinding mechanism. Then, the bean hopper is placed back in position. Grind out the Pulygrind crystals along with coffee until no crystals come out of the grinding mechanism; a couple of portions are usually required.
