Ascaso Dream One Anthracite Espresso Machine

The Dream One is an espresso machine designed by Marc Aranyó for Barcelona-based Ascaso. The espresso machine has been updated from its predecessor "Dream" with new features and technological updates.

The new energy-saving mode activates automatically when inactive, and it takes a couple of minutes for the machine to start up when the mode is on. The machine exits the mode when you flip the switch for espresso brewing. It should only be started and then turned off immediately; then the machine will begin to heat up.

The portafilter is now solidly made with good materials. 6 different 60 mm filter baskets are included. These include baskets for both single and double espresso, all of which fit into the included double handle. This means you can also brew a single espresso in a double handle. A single handle can be purchased separately if preferred.

The espresso machine heats water in a stainless steel water tube that runs through an aluminum thermoblock. The stainless steel tube prevents limescale buildup. We always recommend using a limescale filter in the water tank to prevent limescale buildup and thereby counteract limescale-related service issues. The coffee also tastes significantly better if the limescale is filtered out.
