Rocket Espresso Bicocca espresso machine

With the Bicocca, Rocket introduces a brand new design language and advanced technology. Thanks to its elegant design, which extends around all sides of the machine, it can be placed in the middle of a room and on an open piece of furniture. The sled-shaped feet lift the machine, giving it a sleek impression despite it being a robust and stable piece. Why not let the Bicocca become both the functional and decorative centerpiece of your room? Choose between black or chrome.

The Bicocca is a semi-professional machine that, thanks to Rocket having used much of the technology otherwise only found in truly professional machines, functions more than adequately in a smaller establishment. It heats up quickly. The warm-up time is only seven minutes, and the professional-grade rotary pump makes it truly quiet.

With double stainless steel boilers, there are two points that contribute to a stable temperature. The electrically heated brew group ensures the final correct temperature. The brew group's control panel features a touch display with an HMI interface, meaning everything is controlled via symbols. It is easy to understand and does not require text in several different languages. On the control panel, you can follow the entire process. It displays the temperature in the coffee boiler, brewing time in seconds, water quantity, and pressure in the steam boiler.

As a starting point, the Bicocca has two programs, one for a single espresso and one for a double. Both programs are easily started and stopped with a single button. This makes it easy to do it right! For those who wish to make their own settings, the Bicocca also offers great possibilities. In each program, the liquid volume can be adjusted, the pre-infusion time increased or decreased, and the duration of the pause before brewing begins can be extended or shortened. Other adjustable parameters that appeal to the meticulous and precise barista include the ability to regulate the temperature in degrees and the pressure in the service boiler for hot water and steam. Thanks to a sensor, normally only found in advanced professional models, the pressure is measured, and you can regulate for consistent and stable steam throughout the process. The Bicocca has a multitude of different features and settings.

The Bicocca has an automatic quick rinse program and an automatic cleaning program where you can set how many times and for how long you want the cleaning to occur. A calendar function is available, making it easy to set when the machine should turn on and off. A counter keeps track of the number of brewed cups and the amount of liquid used.

You can, of course, connect the inlet directly to the water connection and the drip tray to the drain. If you choose to use the water tank, it has a smart sensor that warns when the water is about to run out. However, it always allows you to finish brewing.
