Coffee Lungo recipe. How do you make a Coffee Lungo?
Tommy WinbergKaffe Lungo, also called Caffè Lungo in Italian, is a type of espresso-based coffee. The recipe is based on the basic espresso recipe, but the brewing time is longer as more water is needed. The drink has a milder flavor, but still provides a rich and versatile taste experience. The end result is a more diluted drink than espresso that is more similar to our Swedish drip coffee in strength. If you are looking for a stronger coffee that is not as intense as an espresso, Kaffe Lungo is an excellent choice. Check out our recipe and learn how to brew your own cup at home!

How to do it:
- Start with the same basic recipe as an espresso, but add more water, about 50–70 ml.
- Brew the coffee for about 40–50 seconds in an espresso machine. By reducing the dosage of coffee grounds or tamping the coffee grounds more loosely, you can increase the flow and reduce the brewing time.
- Serve your Kaffe Lungo directly in a coffee or cappuccino cup. Ready to enjoy!
