Monteriva Te Gunpowder

Gunpowder is a pure Chinese green tea, with almost no tannins. Light in the cup, the taste is strong and clean. Feel free to try Gunpowder with mint and sugar, as in Morocco.

For optimal brewing, pick out 5-7 small pieces of tea and place them in a cup with 2 dl of hot water (about 70-80°C). Brew until a light yellow color appears. The tea pieces, which now rather resemble flowers, can remain in the tea while you drink, but it is more convenient to remove them. If you want to prepare it the Moroccan way, you should brew it a bit stronger, i.e., with a few more leaves. This is so that the mint and sugar do not completely overpower the taste.
