How to choose coffee for your business

Espresso or drip coffee - what is the difference?

Espresso coffee is roasted and blended for brewing under pressure, often to a slightly darker roast. Drip coffee is usually roasted a bit lighter and is better suited for filter brewing, pour-over, or drip machines. If you use the wrong type for the wrong brewing method, the result may be too weak or too bitter.

Whole beans or pre-ground?

Whole beans stay fresh longer and give you the opportunity to determine the grind size yourself according to your brewing method. Pre-ground is easier if you don't have a coffee grinder, but loses aroma faster after opening.

How should I best store coffee beans?

Store coffee beans in a cool, dry, and dark place in an airtight container. Avoid the refrigerator and freezer for opened packaging – moisture and temperature fluctuations negatively affect the flavor.
